Pregnant Teens

There is an ongoing and growing concern in this country and around the world and that is what to do with pregnant teens? There are some that would say, "Just have an abortion." Yes, that would be the easy thing to do but would it be the right thing for the mother or the baby? Let's look at the options available to those pregnant teens:

Abortion: As stated, this is the easiest and fastest way to “take care of the issue.” Those agencies that provide abortions would say that doing so is a painless and fast procedure that is over almost as fast as it started. The truth is that nothing can be further from the truth. Abortion leaves a mother scarred forever and the baby without a chance to live a beautiful life. This is a fact that is backed up by story after story of mothers having been told that they would not feel any emotional or physical pain after the procedure but in fact still have not recovered after years of emotional torment and physical maladies.

Keeping the Baby. Many women have come close to having an abortion and then decided against it and years later weep at the thought that their precious child was almost not. It is scary being a pregnant teen but you are not alone. There are pregnancy centers across the country and chances are there is one real close to you. These pregnancy centers have counselors waiting to talk with you and many of them have been where you are. Again, you are not alone.

On a final note: If you are concerned about being able to make it financially then you should know that there are many public and private agencies that can assist you with a variety of resources. Although it may seem hopeless, this can turn out to be a great blessing in your life.
