Against Abortion: 5 Reasons why you should Not have an Abortion

If you are considering an abortion or have already had one then you may want to consider some factors prior to doing so. Here are 5 reasons against abortion.

Abortion takes the life of your own flesh and blood. It goes against every morsel of our own built in morality. Whether you have religious beliefs or not, the truth is that inside their soul a woman knows that a child is not a choice but a blessing. Even if the times are uncertain and downright scary, in the end it will work out and you will ALWAYS be glad that you kept your baby.

Abortion scars a woman physically. Many of the abortion mills such as Planned Parenthood will tell you that there is no risk involved in an abortion procedure but this is not founded on truth and supporting documentation. The reality is that you can have a number of side effects that can linger and even death is not as uncommon as you might think. There are serious risks.

Abortion scars a woman emotionally. One of the greatest reasons why I am against abortion is that it takes the life of a precious child. The other main reason I am against it is that it very often takes the soul from a woman. I am not talking spiritually here but I am referring to the inner core of a woman. Time and time again I have encountered women that have never been the same again. The truth is that an unspoken number of women that have had an abortion have suffered from severe depression (often leading to suicide or suicide attempts), anxiety and other serious emotional baggage.

Abortion scars a woman spiritually. This is another one of those “BIG” reasons why I am against abortion. The tremendous amount of guilt often leads a woman to feel abandoned and far from God and makes her feel that she cannot be forgiven. Nothing is further form the truth. God can and will forgive but if you have not had an abortion and are considering doing it .. you do not need to as he will provide a way for you and your baby.

Abortion steals away the gifts of God. God has given everyone a gift and a reason for living. He has a great plan for your child and abortion snuffs out the plan of God for your child’s life.
